In the past 5 years, I’ve worked with dozens and hundreds of students and taken them from absolute beginners to becoming very proficient with the violin.

In that time, I learned that almost every single one of my students had a different reason for wanting to learn the violin. Some of my younger students wanted to learn the violin because of school, and others wanted to achieve their dream of being able to play a musical instrument.

It is INCREDIBLY difficult to learn how to play popular songs on the violin if you don’t know what you are doing, and here’s why:

Violin sheet music is a lot harder to find than say piano sheet music.
Even when you do find sheet music for popular songs, the cost quickly adds up because there are so many songs to learn.
Sheet music is usually either made for pros (too difficult to learn), or absolute beginners (doesn’t sound too good).

Do you have classical music too?
