He’s a Nigerian violinist currently living in the Caribbean – Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), where he has made rounds performing at numerous functions including playing for the Governor-general, and the Prime Minister of the country. Audience members have made comments like “I’m glad we got to see him before travelling back”, “He makes the violin sing”, “that instrument is an extension of him”. To mention but a few.
He brings something entirely different and top-notch to your weddings, parties, church functions, personal entertainment, and other corporate events.
He’s also being recognized by some of the national media outlets: The Vincentian Newspaper, Searchlight Newspaper, and SVG-TV. He was a guest artist at Steel Expressions 2019 – Where Music Lives.
With over 10 years of experience in this art form, Samuel Toka has gotten a hang of putting on an amazing show. Not only live performances, his brand – Toks Violin Music with thousands of followers across social media provides daily dose of music entertainment online. He has also impacted other young aspiring violinists with his comprehensive violin lessons and coaching.
One of his most memorable achievements was the composition of his first original piece – FREED, that went as far as being used by the tourism department of the country in a video showcasing the beauty of the Island. This is very sentimental to him as this was composed when he quitted medicine, and was completely freed indeed to live his music life.
